#kissoffFORDS : Make OUT session for ALL

Social media has a way of spawning fantasies and ideas  that sometimes, become reality.  Our dearest Doug Ford believes everyone should be sued. The hashtag #suemedougford started to happily trend beside #TOpoli it became apparent that there is more our queer community can do.

The idea of a massive make out session to  see if Doug-y would actually sue anyone came from a variety of tweets. At the end of the convo, it was clear. Queers making out to make a point was an excellent idea.

Now then, I am a firm believer in equality for all. Please, fellow allies, feel free to show up and make out as much as us fellow Queerios. My fellow bisexuals, this maybe a good opportunity to grab your gal and your guy and really show Mr D Ford what is worth suing over.

These ideas are just rough sketches. I am open to other ideas. This event/rally/make out session will be stronger with volunteers. We can make signs,  wear our rainbow flags, and of course,  bring cherry chap stick. (thank you Katy Perry)

 The "official" hashtags are #kissoffFORDS  #suemedougford #TOpoli

When
Friday August 29th between noon and 2pm.  I am hoping that a middle of the day event would make it easier for people who work 9-5. City Hall will be open, and there's a good chance the brother's Ford may actually be at work that day.

OR

Saturday August 30th noon to 2pm. While there won't be anyone actually AT City Hall, a protest is a protest. Our aim will still be at the same target : to see if Doug Ford, actually will sue an entire group of people for expressing our deep displeasure for his antics, and those that he puppets through his brother, Rob Ford.

Where

Nathan Philips Square is a perfect place as it  is a wheelchair accessible space. I will seek out ASL interpreters. ALL are welcome. You can choose to parktake in the make out, or be a bystander. Heck, even if you are part of that shirtless horde, please feel free to come!

Who is invited?

Everyone! Queers kissing Queers. Allies smooching with fellow allies . Bisexuals kissing whomever we like ~ perhaps boys and grrls at the same time?

 What is needed?

A few people to help out with organising would be great. There is no budget for this idea. So sign making will be up to the people who join the fun.

It has been said that Queers need to come of age and "grow up" so to speak. We need to stop acting like "spoiled brats" and accept "adulthood." Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I believe, as a  *LGBT  community, protest is powerful.  It is that very act, that makes us mature and accept our responsibility to protest for those who are unable.

Well, the Ford brothers have no idea how to act their age. As far as I am concerned, Turn about is Fair Play!!!

I will post more as the day draws near. Please contact me through Twitter or email.
